Lotus Communications Corp. is one of the largest privately owned Radio Station Groups in the United States. It was founded in 1962 by Howard A. Kalmenson, with the purchase of KWKW, one of Los Angeles' original Spanish language radio stations.
Lotus currently owns and operates a total of 27 radio stations in Arizona, California, Nevada, and Texas. The formats consist of 13 English, 13 Spanish, and Farsi.
Lotus also owns three low-power television stations in: Phoenix, Arizona; Tampa, Florida and Houston, Texas, as well as three e-commerce sites under it's subsidiary, Lotus Internet Corp.
We are very proud of being able to maintain the Company as a privately owned enterprise, providing a "home" for over 400 full-time and part-time employees.
